To support its ambitious growth objectives, the company is seeking a talented General Manager | Consumer Retail ANZ to drive strategic leadership and operational excellence across Australia and New Zealand.

The Role
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a General Manager | Consumer Retail ANZ to join the leadership team of a global powerhouse in the retail industry. Reporting directly to the Regional Senior Director APAC, this high-impact role will oversee the strategic direction and operational management of the consumer retail business in Australia and New Zealand. With full P&L responsibility, the General Manager will lead a diverse team and spearhead initiatives to drive top-line revenue growth and profitability.
As a hands-on leader, you will be instrumental in building new and deepening existing relationships with key retail partners, steering marketing and sales strategies, and championing cultural engagement within the organisation.

Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop, forecast, and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve ambitious growth objectives across multiple retail and digital channels.
Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and develop a team of 10 direct reports, fostering a high-performing and engaged workforce.
P&L Management: Oversee full profit and loss for the ANZ region, ensuring sustainable growth across evolving product categories.
Market Development: Build and strengthen relationships with retail partners and digital marketplaces, identifying opportunities to expand market share.
Performance Optimization: Drive operational efficiency through data-driven decision-making and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Customer Engagement: Enhance customer experience by aligning retail strategies with evolving consumer demands and market trends.

Key Competencies
Leadership Excellence: A proactive, self-aware leader with a proven track record of building and managing high-performing cross-functional teams, as well having ownership of a P&L for a region.
Industry Expertise: Over 10 years of senior sales experience in FMCG, consumer retail, or electronics sectors, with established relationships across retail and e-commerce platforms.
Strategic Visionary: Demonstrated ability to balance long-term strategic growth with immediate operational demands, simplifying complexity into actionable plans.
Cultural Alignment: A hands-on, results-driven professional with a collaborative and agile mindset, capable of driving swift outcomes in a dynamic environment.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to inform strategies and achieve measurable results.
