The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Transformation & Stability โ€“ Lead the companyโ€™s financial evolution, drive disciplined capital management, and strengthen investor trust.
  • Governance & Compliance โ€“ Ensure best-practice governance, transparency, and full compliance with ASX and regulatory requirements.
  • Strategic Growth Initiatives โ€“ Identify and execute commercial opportunities, including market expansion and mergers & acquisitions (M&A).
  • Operational Excellence โ€“ Refine financial processes, strengthen internal controls, and embed a high-performance finance culture.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Investor Relations โ€“ Build confidence with investors, auditors, bankers, and advisors through clear financial reporting and proactive communication.
  • Technology, Cybersecurity & Finance Strategy โ€“ Leverage technology to enhance financial efficiency, reporting, and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Business Partnership โ€“ Work closely with the CEO and Board to drive financial agility, mitigate risks, and shape long-term strategy.

Key Competencies

  • Financial Leadership & Presentation Skills โ€“ Proven experience as an ASX-listed CFO, with expertise in investor presentations and market communications. Ability to translate complex financial results into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strategic Delivery & Transformation โ€“ Demonstrated success in business transformation, including new product/service launches, business case development, and financial strategy execution.
  • Corporate Finance & M&A โ€“ Extensive experience in capital raising, M&A transactions, and managing banking relationships to support business growth.
  • Stakeholder & Investor Engagement โ€“ A trusted financial steward, adept at managing investor relations, market communications, and external stakeholder confidence.
  • Leadership & Culture โ€“ A hands-on, collaborative leader who can mentor and build a high-performing finance team, fostering succession and team depth.
